can I hot-add DS4246 shelf to a existing FAS2720 with a DS212C shelf

Hello,

      as per this document(https://kb.netapp.com/on-prem/ontap/OHW/OHW-KBs/How_to_cable_an_IOM12E_platform_with_IOM6_and_IOM12_storage_shelves_in_Multi-Path_HA ), FAS2720 with embedded shelf need meet strict rule when using a mix IOM6 & IOM12 stack. The above document only states that a new cabling installation is permitted. Is it possible to hot-add a DS4246 to FAS2720 with a DS212C in a stack?(refer to the cabling figure below) I didn't find the document about. Please advise, thanks a lot.
