difference between netapp E series & FAS series

Hello friends,

What is the significant difference between netapp E series & FAS series ?

Also , what is the Prime reason for going to e-series ? . i used to see its mostly used for data intensive workloads, but it didn't see any much alterations in the hardware config of both systems.
