disk ownership

. Where is the disk ownership info saved? Is it save on the drives or in on the OnTap configuration?  Typically we erase the drives in the expansion shelf using a 3rd party erasure program like Blancco or XErase and then run wipeconfig on the controllers. Is that good enough or will those drives retain the ownership info?????

From Remove ONTAP ownership from a disk: ONTAP writes disk ownership information to the disk. Please, follow the procedure described there to remove the ownership of the drives.
