I need to rename the  System Name / Filer on our C-Mode from ABCDE001_HJK to HAPPY001?

What is required?

Is there an outage?

How do I go about changing this?

Thanks,

VG

Do you mean cluster itself or single cluster node? For cluster node - “system node rename”. There is no outage.

the netbios name, the name that is registered in AD. the name that you see when you click on the the vServer and the on the cifs protocol in the right hand window
