Solved: migrate FAS3210 7mode to FAS2554 cdot DS4243

hi everybody,

i want to migrate my FAS3210 7mode to a new FAS2554 cdot System.

Actualy i have two DS4243 and one DS4246. In HWU FAS2554-DS4243 is compatible, netapp-consultants say its not compatible. Who is right?

Is it possible to replace the IOM3 with IOM6 in a DS4243?

No. At least, it is not supported.

Sorry, clicked too early. You can attach DS4243 and DS4246 to the same stack. You cannot have more than one transtion between IOM3 and IOM6. There are couple of conditions more so it is possible that your specific configuration will be unsupported.
