ONTAP Hardware
Hi, I tried to login sp and system console to my Netapp FAS3140. I configure my network part. But sometime I found my configuration lost after I logout.
So my question is if there are some command need to run to save my change?
Thanks!
Hi Mark.zhang,
The filer reads the /etc/rc on boot up to load the network information. You have to add it there to make any network configurations permanent.
Have you updated the changes in the /etc/rc??
Regards,
Hari.
The ONTAP maximum file limits is lesser than the maximum possible number of files supported by ONTAP for a volume. This video explains the reason why ONTAP has this lower limit on the file count.
Here’s a quick tutorial on how to check system information on the NetApp Support Site.
Learn to correct an error message when ONTAP reports that a volume is out of inodes because it has reached the maximum files.
