How to attach a 3rd party s3 compatible storage to fabricpool

Hi 

I want to attach a 3rd party S3 compatible storage to FabricPool, and I can not attach it cos some error.

pls check the screenshot.

Is there any steps about adding 3rd party s3 compatible storage as a fabricpool cloud tier?

I rather think that the issue has to do with the "url-style".

I would suggest to use the CLI see https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap-cli-9121/storage-aggregate-object-store-config-create.html#parameters and try both available styles, path and virtual-hosted.

Hi,

There are no different steps. Just select Others under the Add Cloud Tier, and make sure that the "bucket" already exists on your S3 storage.

Hi

The domain name of S3 storage is alive, but ontap can not find the bucket I create in the S3 storage. I am wondering if the CA-server certificate is the key?

Solved,the key is the svm we need choose cluster svm and set dns , no the data svm.
