SnapCenter software provides centralized control and oversight, allowing users to manage applications aware backup, restore, and clone operations across on-premises, hybrid cloud, and public cloud environments. In addition, we are also introducing the SnapCenter plugin for VMware vSphere 5.0 version to manage vm aware backups. This release brings several key benefits to our valued customers, empowering them with enhanced data protection capabilities and simplified management processes.

  • Snapshot copy locking(aka Tamperproof Snapshots): Protecting Your Data from Ransomware Attacks

Ransomware attacks have become increasingly sophisticated, targeting backups and snapshot recovery points to delete them before encrypting files. With SnapCenter 5.0, we are introducing support for Tamperproof Snapshots and SnapLock features. These features ensure that Snapshot copies are protected from deletion or alteration by ransomware attackers or rogue administrators. By implementing these security measures, SnapCenter enables greater availability of your data even after a ransomware attack.
