Add another region to choose for Azure NetApp Files to help migrate and modernize your mission critical workloads.
Microsoft has announced the general availability of Azure NetApp Files in its enterprise-grade data center in the Brazil Southeast region. This native Azure service enables businesses to deploy and run file-based applications in the cloud without having to refactor or rearchitect them.
Organizations in Brazil, can now easily migrate SAP/HANA, high-performance computing (HPC), VMware, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), and complex databases such as Oracle and SQL Server. These workloads can be rapidly migrated without compromising on their performance, while delivering the reliability and scalability provided by Azure cloud.
This region comes live with the following features enabled:
1. Standard network features (new volumes).
2. Standard network features (edit volumes).
3. Cross-region replication to Brazil South.
