Greetings, The public report for the bug where this change occurred states the option: http://support.netapp.com/NOW/cgi-bin/bol?Type=Detail&Display=612203 CPU usage can be tracked through performance counters collected by Performance Advisor. Use the CPU Utilization graph in "Storage System Summary View" to track the CPU utilization trend. From 5.2 the CPU monitor is disabled by default, the monitor can be enabled by running following command: # dfm option set cpumoninterval= You should also find this information in the Release Notes starting with UM 5.2GA. Thanks, Kevin

A similar error is being fixed in the next UM 5.2.x release due out this year. After you click ok where do you get directed? Are you able to login successfully? Thanks, Kevin

You will need to find and edit the SystemManager.config file - it will be located within your user account's home directory in the ..\NetApp\SystemManager path. Once you have located the file, carefully edit the path located within the <browser> tags to reflect the path to the browser you wish to use. I recommend using an XML aware editor such as Notepad++. Example: <browser>C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe</browser> Thanks, Kevin

Regarding the 3.0 result - was there any difference for this test? Was the same group used for all three tests? Was anything else changed for the 3.0 test?

Can you share which versions worked for you? We have tested back to 3.0 and it behaves the same. FYI - if the group exists in /etc/group file the modification will succeed. Thanks, Kevin

Hello, I just updated to FF 29 (from 28) and OCSM 3.1.1RC1 continues to work on Windows 7 X64. Can you reach the controllers using SSH (or even ping) from that system? Thanks, Kevin

Try disabling the nested groups user search. Step 1: Start at the "Enable Remote Authentication" screen. Step 2: Enable the advanced settings by selecting the "Others" authentication service name and fill in the bind and base names and password. Step 3: Note the text in the Member text box ( member:1.2.840.113556.1.4.1941: ). Step 4: Edit that field so that the member line has only the text "member". Step 5: Click save and perform a test authentication. Thanks, Kevin

Bug 822758 was filed to track and resolve this behavior. Once there is information you will be able to watch it here: http://support.netapp.com/NOW/cgi-bin/bol?Type=Detail&Display=822758 The workaround is to use the ONTAP CLI without the -g option. Thanks, Kevin

Since there is no API call to manage CIFS shares in that manner, OCSM must use the "system cli" API and run a command as if it were on the controller CLI. It appears something changed although it is not yet clear if that was ONTAP or OCSM - the investigation continues. When there is a likely cause identified a bug will be filed on the appropriate product and I will post it here. Thanks, Kevin

I don't recall seeing that option in the offline installer/upgrade routine. I removed the only other Java I had showing in the control panel (Java 7 Update 9) leaving only this entry: OCSM still launches: Thanks, Kevin
