Hi Nico, You are right bug 806754 is not fixed in 2.2RC1R1 or the GA release as well. May I request you to open a case with NetApp Support for the same so that this gets prioritized ? Regards adai

Hi Jim, This error message is a pure ontap one and has nothing to do with WFA, I did some internal search on the bug list and found bug 715129 which talks about this and is Duped to bug 720174. The public report mentions to contact netapp support for workaround or the fix for the same is available in ONTAP release starting 8.2.1RC1 and later. Regards adai

Hi Steve, OCUM 5.2 doesn't monitor the snapshot policy details. I suggest you use OCUM 6.1 to get the same or use the cDOT custom datasource written by mike goddard for snapshot related data. Regards adai

Hi Paul, The sizing guide for 2.x is updated and available in the field portal. It also talk about the cDOT. But in general, the sizing for WFA doesn't matter whether if its 7mode or cDot. The sizing parameters, are mainly datasource and workflow which are independent of 7 or cDot. Regards adai

I am not sure of the jBoss error. Do you have a backup taken ? If so you can reinstall and restore the backup to get your workflows. Regards adai

Hi Dave, Can you share the .dar file ? So that we can look into the cause of failure ? Importing of a .dar file should work across any version of WFA and there is no requirement that it always has to be higher. Regards adai

Hi AB, You can associate a script to run when an alert is triggered. So instead of trying to create a report and take an action, I suggest you create alert to the custom events that you have created and associate the script to process things like, acknowledging etc. Note you can create an alert with just an alert script and no email or trap server id is required. Regards adai

Hi Rao, Below is the answer to your question If I add individual filer/cluster to WFA instead of DFM,is it Possible to do the acquisition?. The simple answer is NO, there is no canned datasource defined to acquire data from filer out of the box in WFA. But as you know wfa is a framework and allows you to create and add your own data source. Here is an example for cluster as a datasource for snapshots. WFA 2.1+ CM Snapshot support with Unified Manager 6.0+ Rao, I would like to understand, more on why you want to add filer as a datasource directly, instead via a OCUM/DFM. Is it because of lack of data being collected by OCUM/DFM ? Like the data your are looking for is not being collected by dfm ? What you want to do by adding filer/cluster as data source ? Regards adai

Hi, WFA does provide commands for all of this. Also WFA is a framework. If the command you are looking for is not available, you can always create your own or customize the existing Command. Regards adai

Hi Kevin, It appears whenever I pull from the qtree.disk_limit_mb table in WFA, the values returned are actually in KB instead of MB (like the table name would suggest). But when I pull a similar table for volumes (volume.size_mb), it does report in MB like the name says. Can you tell us the version of WFA that you are using. Also I assume this is 7mode. Correct me if I am wrong. Am also curious why a query as an administrator takes half the time as the exact same query as an operator. The data comes from the same source regardless, so makes no sense why it would take longer. It would help us to debug the issue if you could share your query. If possible also share the execution logs which contains the time for both as admin as well as operator. Regards adai

Hi Francois, Happy to see you back. Does preview or planning as well take the same time or is it just the execution alone ? How may workflows were executed in parallel ? Is it possible to share the workflow so that we can try it to see what is causing the problem ? Regards adai
