DS2246 with IOM12 vs DS224 on AFF300

Hi, 

I have fairly simple system. AFF300 controllers.

2 shelves. 

storage shelf show

Modules on both shelves are IOM12. ALL disks are the same 1.6tb SSD X365

Would there be any performance difference between shelves?

All ports are showing 12GB but i am not sure about backplabe for the shelves. since one is DS2246 and other DS224.

Yes, the DS2246 still has a 6GB backplane.

Another difference is that SAS2 HW components like DS2246 shelves passed EOS on 31-Jan-2025.
