hi,

I m new with NetApp

today i've got following message when i checked with sysconfig command

Vfiler-*****> sysconfig -r
Aggregate aggr0 (online, raid_dp, degraded) (block checksums)
Plex /aggr0/plex0 (online, normal, active, pool0)
RAID group /aggr0/plex0/rg0 (degraded)

Pool1 spare disks (empty)

my parity disk is failed ! what's the reason of this message ?

what can i do ? change the hard drive ?

you'll need to open a support case with NetApp or the partner the system is supported with. the new drives have to be compatible. by the fact you don't have spare drives listed in the spare pool. i assume you might have more than one disk that failed.
