AIQUM - Hide certain events?

Hello,

we are using AIQUM 9.10.

Is it possible to mark events in AIQUM so that they are no longer displayed.

Background:
We always get events like this: "Audit Log Disabled" on some SVM. The message is correct, but audit log must not be enabled there (because of the staff council). - There are also other similar events that should not be displayed.

If you set them to "acknowledged" they stay in the list forever, if you set them to "resolved" they reappear later again..

What can be done to prevent such a message from constantly reappearing?

Thanks a lot

Michael

Hi @Michael_K

I believe you've got some options here, the first is you change the filters for the Events Management page to not show Acknowledged events - https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/active-iq-unified-manager/events/reference_event_management_inventory_page.html

Alternatively, you can disable certain events from even being triggered - https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/active-iq-unified-manager/events/task_disable_unwanted_events.html

Hope that helps or at least points you in the right direction.

I see following thread related to your query. However, the burt mentioned no longer show up. Don't know if it's marked internal or deleted. Worth logging a ticket to get a straight answer.
