ActiveIQ Remote Authentication fails

Hi,

 

I am trying to set Remote Authentication using Active Directory, but despite configuring with relevant information, I am getting error as attached when performing Test Authentication.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

One of the reasons that this error is returned is that there is a certificate issue between the ActiveIQ server and the Domain Controller.  Were you prompted to accept the certificate from the DC when it was added as an authentication source?

It could be a couple of things:

  1.  Subject name is empty in LDAP cert. Bug:1308166
  2.  Customer is using round robin Authentication servers name versus a specific authentication server.
  3.  Changing manner in which user is to be authenticated.
