After changing user password, receive j_security_check error

christot

Received this error using Firefox 18.0.1 when trying to login to WFA after changing a user password.

Restart of WFA Server service cleared issue... so post is just FYI.

This actually affected other users after the change besides the user whose password was changed.

I am running WFA version 2.0.0.390.1-11036.

Thanks, Sivaprasad K.

I'm now on 2.0.0.391.2-11275 and was unable to reproduce behavior.

It will be nice when upgrade of WFA != backup db + uninstall old + install new + restore db

Hi Chris,

We are aware of this in-place WFA upgrade requirement and considering for an upcoming release.

Hi Chris,

You have got some old build, there might be some issues with that.

You can download WFA 2.0 release build(11275) from Now site and try this out.

I have tried the following scenarios and didn't find any issues,

1) changing the password for admin user, then login with admin user and login with some other user

2) changing the password for some other user, then login with that user and login with admin user

Please let us know if you still hit this issue with release build also..!

Warm Regards

Sivaprasad K
