Hi,

I want to create alarms with Unified Manager 5.0.2 (also tried 5.1) , but it fails with "Unable

to get server time zone offset." error dialog. OS is Windows 2008.

Tried two method, one is opening the "Alarm" page and click "Add" button at the upper left,

and the other one is opening the "Event" page and right click on any of event and select

"Create Alarm" and press "Create" button at the bottom right of the dialog.

Please let me know if anything I did wrong.

Thank you for your help,

---Masahiko

Which browser are you using to edit the alarm?

IE9 and Firefox 13.

Tried to download Firefox 3.6 but could not find it, maybe too old.

Thank you,

Try IE 8 if you cannot access Firefox 3.6.  I have seen this error once but it was browser version related.

Hi Adai,

I clicked the link you provided as I too am having the same issue - however there are no workarounds listed for this issue, unless am I missing something here?

I have filed a case as well:  2004455446

Hi,

I have the same problem on non-English Windows with IE9.

Another workaround is possible (instead of CLI): use the Management Console (Notification > Alarms > Create).
