Hi all,
DFM 5.1 server crashes every time when I call perf-get-counter-data data in a large environment. When I significantly decrease filers to get data for, it stops crashing.
It seems DFM server is not able to handle requests which assume huge data retrieval.
I may assume that resources allocated for DFM server are not enough for it's functioning. May there be another reason?
Have anyone had such problem? How it was resolved?
Regards,
Hasmik
Hi Hasmik,
I think you are hitting the known issue of bug 770795. Pls open a case with NetApp support and add it to the same.

Hi Adai,
Thank you for your response. Could you please provide some link to the bug or some description. Does DFM server version matters or the same happen with all versions?
Thanks a lot,
Hasmik
Hi Hasmik,
AFAIK this is applicable in both 5.1 and 5.2 version of DFM. Bugs online link should help you with the same ...

Adai,
I just found this:
The related bug tell the following:
DFMServer daemon might stop responding if there is a duplicate aggregate instance. The duplicate aggregate instance might appear when the disks belonging to the aggregate are not configured correctly.
Is this what you mean or I found something else.
Thanks for your support,
Hasmik
You, are right..
