Hi experts,
On our NetApp onCommand console of our DataFabric Manager server, one of our host service's status is 'Down'.
we login to check at the vCenter server where this host service is installed, run the command netstat -an we find that port 8799 and 8699 are not listening ... We also take a look at NetApp & onCommand services, they are all started. Pls help us to troubleshoot why these port are not listening.
For the host service that is up, it has 2 storage controllers with login status is 'Bad', we believe this is because we recently have a mass change of password for many account and may cause this Bad. Where can we input the login so that the status change to Good ?
We click on Edit this host service, at the 'vCenter Properties' part, the username in this part is masked so that we do not know exactly which account is this ... is it an account with administrator right in vCenter ? Update this will make the Login status (Host Service) become 'Good' ?
Thanks for any confirmation and guidances. Your helps are highly appreciated.

Solved! See The Solution
Recently we have changed the password of SAN one more time, We come up with updating the password in this console again, this time we just use this console only (last time we update via a software named "NetApp Management Console 3.3") and click on edit each Host Services, with the popup UI, we click edit for the storage controller one by one and update the root password in this console then the Login status of HS is now GOOD.
Hope this info is useful for anyone who is new to Netapp SAN & management software too.

The Host Status is UP again after I restart the service "NetApp OnCommand Host Service" as the two ports are listening again. But the "Login Status (Host Service)" is still BAD, I will try to find more information to to fix this BAD login and post back !
