Domain needed with username when logging into OnCommand System Manager

We use AD accounts to login to OnCommand System Manager and we have to enter domain\username.  Is there anyway that we can remove the requirement of having to enter the domain (and still use AD accounts)?  I know when we login to OCUM we can just use the AD username without the domain, but that is a different beast.

The answer is probably no, but I just wanted to check.

No, we can’t do.

For AD user we need to specify Domain\user in OCSM.

The reason is when you add domain user in the cluster, the password is not added. Authentication is done by AD and we need to redirect the user to correct AD.

For OCUM, user mapping is done locally

Regarding OCUM, can we login with different domain ? root domain ?

As I see, we can only use domain from OCUM Authentication Setup.

When logging in user should exist on DC server. Doesn't matter if there is a trust between child and root domain.
