Hi guys,
I am trying to find out how to see what my HBA firmware adaptors are on ESX. We run VC but i am unable to see the firmware version. I want to audit all my HBA's and make sure they are compatable with the Vseries we are implementing.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
thanks all in advance.

Depends on your adapter.
For Emulex See:

For Qlogic see:

Yes, SANscreen is very cool. It can do a lot more than determine firmware versions !
It is, however, an expensive enterprise product. Most clients do not have SANscreen.
The HUK has 'sanlun' which may give firmware versions.
I'd rather look at the drivers in ESX with hardware provider tools.
I hope this response has been helpful to you.
