Is there a way to setup alert when volume created on filer ?

I was looking in Operation Manager, but did not find any related alerts that can be triggered in such event.

You may wish to check Operation Mgr -> Setup -> Alarm -> Add an alarm.

this is where i checked first, there is nothing really related to this event

Also DOT is not generating any syslog message in this event either, so it can't be tracked, unless if syslog in the verbose mode. (i am not sure if that can be done in 8+ DOT, remember i used it in earlier DOT versions)

The version is the current one.

You may wish to submit a NetApp case to double check your Ops Mgr configuration.
