New Performance Advisor Counters - Why can't I add them ?

Please see attached screen shots. In the "Add Chart" wizard I see 3 counters under aggregate called "pa_avg_disk_busy, pa_max_disk_busy and pa_min_disk_busy". All 3 are italicized. If you hover your mouse over them the built in help (nice, btw !) shows "data collection currently disabled" for only those counters. If I go to the "Data Collection Configuration Wizard" and expand aggregate they aren't there.

Any idea how to enable these ? The "pa_avg_disk_busy" sounds REALLY useful.

Thanks,

If you create a view with these counters and you have disk:disk_busy

enabled, you should be able to see data in the views.

First,

The reason why these counters aren't available in the

"Data Collection Configuration Wizard" is because these are derived counters(calculated stats not in default counter groups) But the wizard is for configuring the counter group counters.

For the view part I will have to check.
