OCB 4.2 with DOT 8.2.1 does it work?

I get some errors, that capabilities are missing... but 8.2.1 (7Mode) does not support does capabilities anymore.

Documentation look outdated.... 😞

root user works.... but the customer would use some dedicated user.

Any idea?

To find  OnCommand Balance 4.2 version compatible with the Data ONTAP version 8.2.1 (7-Mode) running on the storage controller, refer the NetApp Interoperability Matrix Tool (IMT).

Maybe the title was wrong... sorry.

I have checked the IMT before and I know that it is supported.

But the problem is that I get an error, when I will add the controllers to balance with a dedicated user.

I also get errors on DOT when I will add the rule, because of capabilities that are non existent.

Balance check thru the controller add the capabilities and come back with the error that some capabilities are not added to the user/role.

So, the question so far is: What capabilities will be used for that dedicated user?

Did you run the following command to the dedicated user? It's documented in the Install guide.
