OCI 7.0.3 DATASOURCE export to import to new OCI Server

Hi all,

 

I want to export all my OCI configuration from 1 server to another OCI server.

I di dtry the backup from the troubleshooting section, but my full database is bigger than the free space on my FS. I got an "Internal Error".

 

Is ther a way to do a backup without all perfomance data, or a backup with only configuration data... ?

 

I just don't want to re enter all my data sources manually.

 

Of course if you just have a python script that can do the job, I'll try it 🙂

Do you have OCI ASUP enabled to send databases? If you do, and you do NOT have performance enabled, you may have a backup sitting around as a result from this

Your best bet will be to fix the disk capacity problem. 

 

You may also want to talk to your sales team about this challenge.  Prior versions had an option to back up only data source configuration; they can ask that this feature be brought back in a future release.

You are right 🙂

I am not able to change my capacity issue, but you can just use SQL to export / import ( have to ask your account team ).

 

I will also ask for this button that is no more present.
