OnCommand Report and On Command core

Hi,

Customer already have OnCommand core (DFM) and requesting to install OnCommand report on same Virtual machine. However when i go thru the pre requisite of On-Command report , it say must not be installed on DFM server.

Can it cause any performance issue or is there any functional  problem along with DFM. Customer is asking to put on same server and can increase the vm resource to cater both apps.

Hi Vivek Sharma,

     They both should not run on the same VM. You will have performance problems and run into support issues as this isnt a supported configuration by NetApp.

OCUM uses sybase database, where as OCR use cognos to do data ware housing.
