Oncommand System Manager for Data Ontap 7.0.6

Hi all,

I installed software OnCommand System Manager 2.0.1. But it can not connect to FAS250 ( Data Ontap 7.0.6 ).

How can i use the OnCommand System Manager to connect and manage FAS250.

The Error is :

Version 1.7 was requested, but only 1.4 is supported. (Error: 13010)

I will appreciate all your answer.

Update to the current Data ONTAP 7.3.7. 7.0.6 is really old.

Could you please instruct me how to upgrade Data Ontap FAS250 ?

Will my data on Fas250 be lost when upgrade Data Ontap ?

Your data won’t be lost.

You can find detailed description in Upgrade and Revert Guide for target Data ONTAP version as well as in Upgrade Advisor in My Autosupport.

i have got the instruction to upgrade FAS250 from Upgrade Advisor . 

When i go to step 1 :

1. fas1> options lun.use_partner.major_ndu_compatibility on
But My Fas 250 didn't have this command. It has command lun.use_partner.cc.enable

     fas1> options lun

     options lun

     lun.use_partner.cc.enable    on

And the Step 4:

Connect to the console of the node and trigger an AutoSupport:

fas1> options autosupport.doit starting_NDU

- What is starting_NDU ? Can i run these command from ssh ( because i don't have console cable )

Could you please help !!! I am begin learning Netapp so i don't have much knowledge about it.

Some options are not visible until you set them. Just try to set it. Although I am not sure this option matters at all, because FAS250 does not support either active/active configuration or FCP.
