Hi,
Is there a way to increase the historical data retention for disk usage in operation manager? By default it seems to be 2 weeks only.
The "dfm perf data list" command only shows performance counters but not disk space usage at the volume level.
Thanks,
Pierre

If you are using the management console you can go to setup > hosts, select the host you want to modify and go to data collection and edit
Follow the wizard on the 3rd screen you can set the sample rate and retention period for all your stats (including disk)
Hopefully that helps

Those are the same counters I found using the dfm cli.
What I am looking for is a way to extend the retention of the disk space utilization per volume and I couldn't find it in the list of performance counters.
Thanks,
Pierre

Well it looks like the system keeps at least a year of data but it doesn't display properly when you select the 3 months range and this is probably because it consolidates the older data.
Thanks for helping.
