Ops Mgr & Windows 2008 Clustering

IHAC that would like to cluster Ops Mgr 3.8 on Windows 2008.  Per page 35 of the Install & Upgrade Guide, the supported config is as follows:

DataFabric Manager with MSCS is supported in the following configuration:
◆ Microsoft Windows servers running Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition or
Data Center Edition, running the same patch versions on identical hardware
◆ Only two nodes in the cluster setup
◆ Fibre Channel switched fabric or iSCSI-based storage for shared data disks
with a NetApp storage system as the storage back end
◆ Only the Single Quorum Device Cluster setup
◆ The same version of DataFabric Manager installed at the same path on both
the cluster nodes, for example, C:\Program Files\NetApp\DataFabric\DFM
◆ All DataFabric Manager administrators as domain users rather than local
system users so that the user login works even when the DataFabric Manager
services fail over to the partner node

But on the Interoperability Matrix, it show that Windows 2008 with Failover Clustering or MSCS is also supported.  I just wanted to verify that Ops Mgr is supported on Windows 2008 with Failover Cluster or MSCS.  Also, is there a requirement that the shared storage be on NetApp per page 35 of the Install & Upgrade Guide?

Thanks in advance.

AFAIK only MSCS is supported.  Could you please point me to that Interop Matrix?

Here is the link to the NetApp InterOp Matrix:

Btw, I did get the correct answer to this.  And it is supported.

So....this may be a moot point but I think my first response to a customer asking this would be to dive into the "why" (as I'm guessing that most times it wouldn't be necessary).

For this particular client, the primary driver for clustering DFM is Prot Mgr.  They will have local and remote backup policies kicking off throughout the day, seven days a week (24x7).  To meet those SLA's, they felt the needs to cluster DFM / Ops Mgr / Prot Mgr.
