IHAC who is trying to migrate a SV secondary volume from one controller to a second using the features in Protection Manager. The correct licenses are in place. The drive types match. The systems are both 6030's. Both are running 7.3.3P3. No resource labels are in use. None of the aggregates are over-committed. Can someone explain what this error means?
"There are no aggregates with enough space and reliability/label match for all the volumes in the vFiler unit."
Here it is in context:

Are you trying to migrate the vFiler using DataMotion ? or Migrate volumes using the secondary space management feature of dfm 4.0
From the error it looks like DataMotion of vfilers. Can you get the version of dfm you are running and the OS on which its running.
Also the output of dfm options list ?
Regards
adai
Also vFiler DataMotion of secondary or DR vFiler unit is not supported.
Can you get the output of the following.
dfm aggr get 3243.

Are you trying to migrate the vFiler using DataMotion ? Yes
Migrate volumes using the secondary space management feature of dfm 4.0? No issues with this process.
From the error it looks like DataMotion of vfilers.
Can you get the version of dfm you are running and the OS on which its running?

As I suspected its due to the over commitment,
The error.
Aggregate 'UNPIOX80PN:aggr019'(3423): Used space: 5.82 TB Total capacity: 12.2 TB Committed size: 12.0 TB
The committed size on the aggr is beyond Aggregate Nearly Overcommitted Threshold (%): 95
Either increase the over commitment or add disk to the aggr.
