Protection Manager - shrink or pre-create the volume sizes?

Does anyone know of a work around to the auto-volume creation under Protection Manager (when replicating data to the DR site, the volumes are being created the same size as the source aggregate, not their original volume sizes) – our customer would like to know if there is a way we can shrink or pre-create the volume sizes.

With DFM 3.7 and older the volumes are thin provision to the same size as the aggr.  If you want to create smaller volumes, then you would need to upgrade to DFM 3.8 and enable Dynamic seconday Volume zising.

dfm options set dpDynamicSecondarySizing=enabled
