SANscreen v6.1.3: What does the IMORT option in the inventory does?

Hi,  What does the import option in the inventory page do? While creating a data source.  I tried importing csv file, xml file, excel file with entries of my machines, but does not work.  It would be appreciated if somebody explains me this, and if that could be of any help to me.  Regards, John Jr.

It is a way to set hidden parameters.

For GUI cleanliness, some datasources have parameters that can be manipulated, but cannot be manipulated through the GUI. The import function allows you to set those parameters by importing an ASCII text file that has them set.
