Soft Delete or recycle bin for ONTAP NAS

When file is deleted, is there soft delete feature or recycle bin so that you can retrieve the file?

ONTAP NAS volume/share in general 'accessed' from the Host/client-Side using Network Filesystem Protocols such as SMB/CIFS & NFS. It's up to the Host-OS (Windows/*nix) how it handles it. However, if the file is deleted then ONTAP snapshots protects it and allows you to recover it via NFS/SMB or CLI.
