Hi All,
Can you people explain about the field DAILY GROWTH in VOLUME GROWTH REPORT as i can see some Plus and Minus values in the growth what does that mean , 0 Bytes mean nothing Utilized and -7.00KB means 7KB space reclaimed( Don't know exactly ) , Please clarify .

Hi Nayab,
Daily growth rate is calculated by a linear regression of upto 90 days data (average value for a day).
However, this refers to a 'projected' value (yes, approx) according to the trend/ linear regression.

Hi,
The growth rate specifies the average daily change in volume size (of total volume size).
You can use the "Volume Growth" report to tell you which volumes on all of your storage systems are full or are projected to be full soon.
Yes, the negative values indicate that some space has been reclaimed from the volume.

So, As in the above screen shot is that DAILY GROWTH speaks about exact value or an approx avg value ??
