Volumes with LUN's of the same size sending alerts of 100% full

When a customer creates LUN's in volumes the same size as the volume and I know this is not usually best practices, how do they keep the alerts from coming through that their volumes are full.  They know this, but don't want to get aleated to it.

Probably, you also need to set the volume FR  to a lower value too.

on some of my LUN's I uncheck space reserved...that should resolve your issue

Set your volume space guarantee to none and grow it so that it's larger than the LUN.  It won't ever take up anymore space out of your aggregate since you've only got the LUN out there.  Leave the LUN space reservation enabled.

Obviously, this is only safe if you're never planning on taking snapshots.

One was is to group all those volumes containing luns under one resource group in DFM and don't configure an alarm for that group.

The above one will not help if either alarm based on the volume full event or event severity of error or warning is set at global level.

Another was is to change the event severity to normal or informational, but other really volume full event will also have the same severity.
