What does Firmware describe in DFM/OM "Storage System Releases" report?

Hi,

could anybody tell me what exactly does Firmware mean in "Storage System Releases" report?

It is somehow related to

a) FC HBA microcodes

b) disk microcodes

c) or it is just BIOS for DataONTap?

E.g. i have "2.4.0" for FAS3040.
