Hello,
I have a graph with OCPM that indicates me 80% of "other" IOPS
I understand read and writes IOPS but what is "other" IOPS ??
It's a CIFS volume, used by MAC users with Acronis Acces Connect solution (former ExtermeZip) that provides AFP, "transforming" CIFS
Thanks in advance !

Metadata operations.
Think:
Walking a directory hierarchy
Your OS checking to see if there is a write lock on this file?
Reading the NTFS ACL?
Does this file name exist before the OS acknowledges your click on "Save"
All the stuff other than the actual read and write operations on the file biits themselves
