There is no reason you should need to perform daily repetitive tasks to maintain your storage environment.
If you have daily tasks related to maintaining your NetApp storage system, your first task should be to implement a monitoring/alerting/reporting system like OnCommand Unified Manager (OCUM). Having a system like this in place will allow you to focus on other more important tasks.
