anyone knows which permissions are in real necessary to connect the vCenter within WFA?

the Installation and Setup Guide mentioned an vCenter admin account.

Trying to understand your query.

Are you looking for the "previleges" to be set for an user in vCenter, so that this user

can be specified in WFA while creating the vCenter Datasource?

Is you intent not to provide the admin account details to WFA because of some reason.

you totally right, my customer want to setup an vCenter Admin Account for the WFA connection.

So did you know the specific permissions for that use case?

Jens,

         Minimum permission needed for a user is System.view on the root folder which is your Datacenter.

VC5.1,5.0,4.X : Minimum required Permission : The User need to be in the built-in Group Administrators

VC5.5 : A User having Role : "READ only" should suffice. It has System.View permission.
