OnCommand Unified Manager 5.2.1, provides centralized monitoring, alerting, and performance analytics for 7-mode. System Manager, is the GUI for administering 7-mode. Other options are OnCommand Workflow Automation, for orchestration and automation across our portfolio (including 7-mode). These options are all included, at no cost, with the purchase of NetApp storage.
An additional option is OnCommand Insight, which is a licensed, paid-for product. OnCommand Insight can monitor configuration, capacity, and performance across 7-mode and clustered Data ONTAP, in addition to the same on E and EF series and 3rd party storage arrays. OnCommand Insight (OCI) even extends beyond just the storage infrastructure into VMware and Hyper-V stack. OCI is a very powerful, end-to-end, tool that correlates the infrastructure side up into the business stack for a true end-to0end service path.
