My autosupport and flash cache

Hi,

I have several systems with flash cache . The configurations are fine ( options, licence, sysconfig,...) and i can see the cache usage with stats.

My autosupport reports a Risk ..... Saying That pamII module is not configured....

Did i miss something ? Is There à problem with my conf ? Or is it à problem with autosupport ?

Hi

You can check the status of the PAM module with sysconfig output.

once you see the PAM is installed in the output make sure license is applied (licese command) and options "flexscale.enable" is set to ON.

the card is seen as enable , the license is installed and options are configured .

I don't know why I've got this error in myautosupport.

hello,

which ontap version did you use, and which system?

as i know, there are some problems with ontap8.x and flash cash / pam.

with ontap 8.1 autosupport only works with https, and there we can only use the option autosupport.noteto

I use Ontap 8.1RC2 .... and autosupport transport is configured with mail .... 😞

I'll modify autosupport options to use https .

you get only a simple massege if you add your support email to these noteto option. only for the new systems fas2240 for properly.

and for the systems fas3210 and fas3140 they have an issue with their memory. there will the flash cash card not work.
