Successful delivery of an AutoSupport message significantly improves problem determination and resolution. |
this event will generate for many reasons including:
- manual shutdown
- manual reboot
- manual takeover
for a panic or other disruption, a different callhome is sent and will generate a case. it wont for a manual takeover or reboot.
there are other ways to be alerted for this specific event if you'd like through Active IQ unified manager or within ONTAP's feature called event notifications. EMS configuration
