Hi Folks ,
I have created a CIFS share and mounted it to a windows machine . From windows machine i am able to get into the folder, open the folder see files . but unable to view these from windows event viewer as they are in evtx format and throws error " a device attached to the system is not functioning" . I have tried creating a new file and deleting the file but unable to modify that file .
I dont see any issue with ACLS , security style of the volume.
Can someone guide me what to look further?
Thanks in advance
