ZAPI support for IaC

Is there a announcement on till when ZAPI will be supported as Rest API introduced in ONTAP 9.6?

I have not heard when ZAPI support will end.  I do know that with every new ONTAP release (currently 9.9.1) we are making improvements to the REST API and we even have a ONTAPI to REST API mapping document to help with transitioning to REST API for automation.
