I have created a CIFS SHARE on CVO . When i am trying to mount the path "\\svm023384e\SAM" . I am not able to see folder "SAM "inside "svm023384e" .But i am able to get into "svm023384e" and see other folders .

What could be the issue ? Can someone guide me ?

Thanks in advance !!

Hello!

Do you have NTFS permissions to access the data? Did you get any issue in timeline in Cloud Manager or even inside ONTAP in the logs ("event log show").

I would also verify if the junction path is correct.

Yes , security-style is NTFS . This share has been created newly on new volume under same SVM .

I didnt see any issue in cloud manager nor in event log show . Junction-path is correct

Allright.

Then may be  turned off on the share (although the default for each share is configured as browsable). To verify, run the command:

::> vserver cifs share show -vserver <vserver>

Look under "properties" to see if the relevant share is browsable.

Add the "browsable" share property with the following command:

::> cifs share properties add -vserver <vserver> -share-name <share_name> -share-properties browsable

Properties , I have already kept it as browsable when creating share.
