Cloud Volumes ONTAP

Can't ssh to OnTap Cloud cluster

I open Putty and connect to the OnTap cloud cluster using the cluster-mgmt ip address.

Enter the correct  username and password and the connection is rejected.

If I entered the incorrect password, the cluster returns Access denied. So the connection is there.

Same thing using node mgmt IP.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Please check how your instance was created. In all likelihood you have selected the option to conncet to the instance with keypair access rather than password.

Try admin as user with your keypir.

We use Cloud Manager to build our instance. We did use a keypair but should SSH allow me to login using my Netapp OnTap credentials?
