Cifs share inaccessibilty

Cifs share was accessible before to the clients , Now I see that they are not able to write or modify anynthing on folders . but able to view folders and files

Hello @Netapp_maniac ,

 

You can check why the client is getting access denied using sectrace command:

vserver security trace filter 

Also you can check the user privileges using the below command:

vserver services access-check authentication show-creds

Hello,

Can you check the Status of VOL ?

By a VOL SHOW command

Maybe it is in RO , and can you check the CIFS SHARE ?
