StorageGRID load balancer scripts - can anyone share examples? HA Proxy or nginx

Hello,
Not sure if I posted in on the right subforum...

We are trying to set up loadbalancers for 2-site StorageGRID. I've seen a TR regarding this but the example configuration are very basic. 
Anyone could share a configuration script examples for HA Proxy or nginx that would cover switching to another site in case of failure ? 
How to detect network site of the incomming traffic to redirect the request to site which is local to the request ?
