SnapCreator 3.6 Domino: Unable to quiesce

Dear all,

We've sucessfuly deployed SnapCreator 3.6 on a Windows 2008 R2 64bit that runs Domino 8.5.3. SnapCreator is working really fine here.

We've another Notes environment based on Windows 2003 R2 SP2 32bit that also runs Domino 8.5.3.

The second one (W2K3) is configured exactly the same way as it's the W2k8. We obviously use 32bit versions of everything in Windows 2003 system.

When we tried to take a snapshot on the Windows 2003, the following messages appear:

It seems SnapCreator is not able to quiesce Domino.

Question is, Why is this happening and how can we solve it?.

I'm attaching the complete debug log.

Sorry, the first message was wrong, the database which is presenting difficulties is "aelosegu.nsf".

This is from the debug log you can find attached.

This database has local access protection (encrypted) and you are not authorized to access it

Error opening DB:g:\Lotus\Domino\data\Mail\aelosegu.nsf

Hi Jose,

I think the problem is that the DB is encrypted. If you disable the encryption on the DB, the backup shall work.

SnapCreator can't open/backup a DB that is encrypted.
