Can I manually set the ALUA to Yes on the Filer, for 'snapdrive for UNIX' created Igroup - unix_fcp_SdIg

If snapdrive for UNIX conf file has enable-alua="on" and  yes it is not shown on the filer side.

Ideally it should be seen when I do:
filer>igroup show -v igroup_name

If not seen, can I manually set the ALUA to Yes on the Filer, for 'snapdrive for UNIX' created Igroup
filer>igroup set unix_fcp_SdIg ALUA yes

Note: With certain UNIX OS (such as HPUxiV3 -with Native MPIO), reboot is not required.

Question is - Is this allowed - Manally setting ALUA for snapdrive for unix created igrups.

Hi, yes this is allowed. Like you said, some hosts will require a reboot, some won't.
